The HDUI is out for the HR34, I'm a little surprised the installer didn't download it for you. It will likely get it in the next day or so overnight.
HR-34 GA of HD Guide?
Just had the new unit installed. Curious if the current general availability release has the HD menu or if it is still on the way?

Pandora is still not available on the HR34's national release
I had mine installed today as well, it was running big blue, as soon as the tech left I forced the software download. So far its working great, I couldn't be happier.
