I have a friend who has the HR10-250 and since the last update his MX-500 remote control isn't working properly. When he pushes a button it sends multiple commands with a single push. He has tried to reprogram the remote. It isn't isolated to just one unit he has two HR10-250's and is getting the same response on both.

Not sure if this is the appropriate forum but I couldn't find one dedicated to the HR10-250.

Suggest you reprogram the MX-500, this time using the following technique with the learning feature. With the original TiVo peanut remote pointed at the MX-500 in learn mode, just briefly tap each button, do not hold the button. You want to transmit a quick IR pulse so that each IR command does not repeat. If you still have problems you can also try the forum here.

My MX500 still works fine with my HR10-250. I had used hiker's technique and "learned" my Tivo remote's commands to the HR10-250.
