Only good as an SD DVR very soon. Though you can tune HD OTA with it.

If you really want an HD DVR from DirecTV, you need to be looking at one of their HR2x units.

Soon, it will no longer be able to receive HD programming from DirecTV.

D* SD and digital OTA, including HD, only.
