Hi all,

We just had the HR21-100 installed on our TV upstairs (Philips 1080i)) and I must say the picture looks great. Which leads me to my question:
Is it possible that the HR 21-100 can have a better picture than the HR20-100?
I would think that hte Sony Bravia is a better picture.

downstairs TV (Sony Bravia series 1080P). Hooked up with HR 20-100
Upstairs TV (Philips (1080i) Hooked up with HR21-100

Switch them places and you'll find out. Let us know. I wanna make sure Bravia has better picture. I will get offended otherwise.

Assuming everything is functioning correctly the picture from a HR21 and an HR20 should be identical. Most likely it's a matter of calibration on the TVs.

Having tested HR21-200 (not 100, I'll admit) and HR20-700 on the same TV, I saw no difference in picture.

I will switch them out tomorrow and report back.
