Had the HR20 installed Sept 27th.
Worked great untill today.

Turned it on and no signal going to my TV.

Spent some time on the phone with D* and
after many reboots and unplugs etc.
They are going to work on sending me a new one.
But are back ordered bla bla bla...

What a pain, no TV at all untill the new box arives
no estimate or anything. "We can't do anything until Monday."
Everything I had saved is gone...
Wow the price one pays for early adoption

DOA usually means Dead On Arrival :)

Didn't you read the Beta Agreement before you signed it? Oh, never mind. I fogot that D* forgot to notify users that they were part of the Beta.

I am waiting on my 4th replacement HR20. This one is being hand carried by a D* QA Supervisor and a lead tech. Tuner 2 has been DOA on 3 units. I have another HR20 that has had 2 working tuners since it was installed back in September. The installer has been out twice to test the LNB's, Multiswitch, wiring, etc. That is, he has been out twice since the initial install which took 4 tries because D* kept scheduling installs without shipping the equipment to the installer. DOHeth!
