Due to one of my HR10-250 Hard Drives failing, I am thinking about making the total switch, with two new HR20's, 5 LNB dish, etc.....
I understand that the DVR has some software issues, which is to be expected. But are there any Hardware related issues? The software issues can be addressed by DTV, but Harware issues are of more concern.
I remember when the HR10-250 came out, there was the HDMI card issue that some had experienced.
By the way, what is the best deal I can expect from DTV to switch over. I currently have them on the hook for a replacement HR10-250 for the one that is bad and a new HR20 as part of the upgrade, along with the Dish, Multiswitch, install, etc... for $99 plus shipping. Is this about the best I can do.
If I pull the trigger, I would really want both my HR10's replaced.
