HR20 Locking up

376 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  btmoore
Received my HR20 few days ago and updated to 0B. The lockup happend yesterday and today. It is very random and it cannot be duplicated. It happens randomly when I hit play when trying to watch a previously recorded PPV or a currently recording show. The only way to get out of it is to hit the red button and reboot.

Other things i've noticed:
-I do get pinky showing up every now and then randomly.
-Noticed that the sound & video is off by half a second on some channels (NBC, ESPNHD) but not all the time. I am using HDMI so I don't know if that is the issue.

Try unplugging the receiver for a minute or so instead of using the red button.

You can easily get pinky if you hit the remote buttons fast enough, especially on playback.

Everything is fine, your HR20 is not crashing, it is all a bad dream.
