I've got an H20 in the bedroom. If I delete a caller ID notice from the list, it then goes back to the list so I can seect another one.

I've got an HR20 in the living room. If I delete a caller ID notice from the list, it dumps me back to live TV. VERY annoying! It means I have to hit several more buttons to get back to the caller ID messages list to delete the next entry.

Fix this, DirecTV!

You know, you can just hit the back button.

One button (not on my Harmony 880 hard buttons) more than it should take.
If I understand your statement correctly, you don't need a "Harmony 880".
There is a back button on the D* remote.
But before you say it, I know this doesn't address your initial complaint.:)

Why delete them? Because I want to. My girlfriend calls all the time. She IS my wife.
You realize I was joking right? Anyway, there really is no reason to delete them. When you get more than 25, the new ones will bump off the old ones.

If you saw my equipment rack, you would know why I need the 880:

GoVideo 8mm/VHS DualDeck VCR
JVC SVHS VCR
Samsung DVD recorder
HR20
Pioneer 12-CD jukebox
Sony Preamp (A/V receiver)
SIMA video switch
Samsung 19" widescreen 720p monitor
Sanyo 32" 1080i TV
X10 camera receiver
Additional TVtoVGA TV tuner (to convert outputs of recording devices to VGA for the samsung monitor).
Coming: Media Center PC.

The Back button I can map to either the LCD screen or some other unused hard button on the 880. Right now it's on the LCD screen, but still one extra button to push that I shouldn't have to.
