Has anyone solved the problem with the media server logging off after playing a few songs? I know this has been mentioned in other threads but I haven't seen a solution.
I am using Windows XP, Linksys router hard-wired to the HR20, and TVeristy (which actually works great and is free). I play around 10-15 minutes worth of music and am then logged off. I have even had the last song continue to play completely after logging off.

After the server logs off, the "music and photos" menu disappears. If I wait a few minutes it will come back and I can start over with the cycle.

I am not sure where to start with this one. I suppose it is an issue with either the router or Tversity.

I have not used TVersity successfully but in Twonkey and WMP11 the "fix" is to also have a slideshow playing at the same time you are listening to the music.

I guess I will have to try that. Although I would like the ability to watch a tv show while listening to MP3 but if it "fixes" it, I guess it'll do for now. Thanks.

I have never had my server log off since I started doing the photo/mp3 combo. Yes it would be nice if we could have a TV show on while listening to MP3s but I guess that is one of the downfalls of not being VIIV compliant.

I am using Nero Mediahome and have not had that problem. I dont remember how long it played but it played an entire album without stopping. I will look into this to see if there is a problem that I didnt see.

You are the second person I have seen that stated they are using Nero for this and it's working good. If Twonky ever fails me I will be sure to give that Nero a try.
