Does anyone have Denon codes for the HR20 remote? There is only one listed in the set-up, and it doesn't control my receiver. Denon 4800.

Try codes 30160, 31360, 30004.

The vol keys never work initially not until you do the following: There first needs to be a tv code programmed to the tv device, then:

1. av1 or av2
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 9-9-3
4. press VOL UP

Is there a way to use the volume control on the HR20 Remote Control with the Denon AVR w/out sliding the switch to the AV1 position (that is, leaving the switch in the DirecTV position)?

It would be great to be able to choose the default volume on the remote.

I have the denon avr 4306 and hate having to slide the switch back and forth. If I leave the switch in avr mode and try to change the channel by typing a number it actually changes the avr from "tv mode" to another "video mode" (results in a black screen). The kicker is that the HR20 remote allows me to toggle all video modes except to the "tv mode".

Please post how to change the default volume on the remote to an AVR vs the TV.
