HR20 Return Policy

Since there has been so much dissatisfaction with the HR20 I wanted to know how difficult it is to return. I purchased mine from DirectTV. My major disappointment is how SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW it is in changing channels! I'd heard it was QUICK!!! Not mine. Also, I'm having trouble with local HiDef stations.

Can you return it and how much time do you have? Thanks.

Not sure about any of the return stuff, but have you tried turning Native Mode off to speed up channel changes?

Someone will give you a good explanation why it helps, but I can tell you to give it a try.

Once you've got that taken care of, you can focus on all other things that drive you crazy and make you want to return it :)

It will keep the HR20 outputting at the same resolution regardless of channel. With native mode on it takes longer for the HR20 to change the output resolution to match the native resolution of the show you're watching.
