HR20 Setup problem

Just got an HR20 to go along with a new Sony 40V2500 LCD. When the HR20 initially powers up I get the "wait a few seconds" screen, then everything just goes to black and nothing else seems to happen. The blue lights on the front of the HR20 around the select button just go around and around and neither the remote or manually pushing the buttons affects anything. Pushing the red reset button leads to the same thing happening. Connections are via component. All help is appreciated!

Try hitting the RES button on the receiver to another resolution to see if you get a picture.

Also double check your component cables to make sure you haven't reversed the blue and green cables. I've done that before but it usually results in flickering colors instead of going to black.
