HR20 Stopped responding to remote

Yeah, that is truely confusing, i've had it hapen a couple tiime myself.

whats worse is when it does work every other minute..

Help me out here guys. I have my remote set to RF. One of my biggest problems is if I'm watching a program on HD NET or one of the HD channels. If I don't touch the remote for about 15 minutes and then I go to use the remote it doesn't work. The audio and video will keep playing but the DVR will accept no commands from the remote. This has also happenned during a playback of and HD program. It's driving me nuts. I have to reset everything once again. Is this considered a lockup or is a possibly and HDMI or Optical cable problem. I'm lost. Thx.
