OK, so other people are getting the same problem I guess??? I currently only have the one line, so I was thinking maybe the HR20 REQUIRES both tuner lines to be hooked up??
HR20 tuner problem
Hi,
I just got my HR20 700 and in the room that It is installed I only have one line. It's going to be difficult to get a second line with the finished ceilings. My problem is that when I am changing the channels I'll get a message that pops up and says something like "There are two tuners in use choose which one to watch" then you have to hit select and it goes away and then randomly when switching channels it will come back again. Do I have to have 2 lines ran to the HR20 for it to function properly, I knew the dual recording wouldn't work with out it but I didn't think it would cause this type of problem.

Update on my problem, I guess it does require 2 lines because after running a 2nd line yesterday morning I have not had that error message about "2 programs using the same tuner" Again, I would get the error message when I would scroll through channels quickly with the up and down arrows, but after the 2nd line hooked up it's all good now.
