So far so good. LOST and The Nine recorded with no problems. I do have a couple quick questions I could not find in the manual.
1. Manual says to press guide then menu for guide options, but I am not seeing any guide options. What guide options are there besides channel filtering? Is there only the grid guide or is there a guide similar to the TiVo guide?
2. Channel banner - are there any different views for the channel banner like there were with the TiVo? I always used the smallest banner which would just show the channel number/logo in the corner.

1. I don't know the answer but I'd advise against using the guide. The reason being that Guide programs don't always record correctly. I'm pretty sure it's a known issue. As with the HR20 issues, you may or may not be effected. I always add from the Search and haven't had any problems yet.

2. I saw an option for how long to display the banner but I think that is the only option that I saw related to the banner.

Well, I'm just talking about the guide in general, not just scheuling recordings. I use the guide to see what's on, I'm just curious if we're stuck with the grid guide only.
