HR20i - How are updates handled?
I think this is the right place, I'm mainly curious how MFH3 setups get their updates.
Over in the main HD receiver forum in the "Official Still no HD" thread, a user has an HR20i and has not gotten the HD GUI. I think we're running into, at least for a lot of us, a fairly "obscure" setup in that it doesn't operate the way most of us are used to.
Are updates to HR20i and HR24i units delayed from the normal receivers? How do they actually get updated? I'm seeing references to using SNMP protocols, so obviously Internet based, but who actually handles it? The Technicolor NOC?
