I had an HR20-700 for about 20 months that recently died, it was replaced with an HR21-200. With the old HR20 1 hr of MPEG4 HD was always around 2% of available space, SD around .5% or so......with this new HR21 it is only saying 1% or so for 1 hr of MPEG4 HD - I put 6 hrs of HD on it and it only used (or said it used) 7%, leaving 93% free - with my old unit that would have been 88% free.
So, my question(s) are, is this HR21 not calculating available space properly, or has the MPEG4 compression been increased, or...is it possible that they have a larger Harddrive in this unit ? ? ? ? ? Anyway to tell??????
