I ordered another HD DVR from D* and they sent me an HR21-200. I tried doing several Forum Searches, but I couldn't seem to find information on this HD DVR. Would someone either give me some information on it or give me a link to a thread that already talks about it? Thanks :)

Well I never could get that first look to come up. My PDF just wouldn't come up! I know my receiver is the one without the OTA, but that isn't a problem. I have to tell you a funny story on my husband and I. We had the two cables coming out of the wall. Neither cable itself would reach the TV. So we had the one line hooked with additional cable for the receiver without the DVR. We had the additional cable to reach the TV for the other line, but we forgot a means to connect the cables! And on top of that we forgot we needed another B-band!!!!!!! How could we have possibly forgotten the B-band  Well Monday when we got the receiver we just hooked it up with the one line. Tuesday my husband got the connecters to hook up the other line. And, of course, dear D* is sending us B-bands ;) It is rare for my husband to let things like that get by him, but it is par for the course for me to do things like that

Yes you are right my husband and I are official "hooked" And dear D* reaps the benefits
Hi Dolly! I'm the proud user of an HR21-200 and I'm quite pleased with it, overall. Two things you should know about:

1. If you want OTA-HD, you can add an AM21 external OTA tuner for it. Works beautifully, fully integrated into the program guide, and the tuner is an exceptional performer.

2. If you want to add an external eSATA drive to it, be sure to avoid the Free Access Pro series of drives...they will not work with the HR21-xxx series. They work with the older HR20, but NOT with the HR21. There are various threads that show the Antec MX-1 enclosure with a variety of different drives work nicely with the HR21.
