I've been having issues with pixel breakup & momentary "searching for satellite: tuner 2" issues for awhile now. I tried everything, swapping cables, BBC's tightening connections, reducing cable lengths, etc, to no avail. Then I read a post here about an external fan & reducing the internal temperature. I have a small, air mover fan I used in my drumming days to keep extra cool 
so I set it to low power, placed it a few inches from the side vent and reduced the temp from 97' to 87'....presto, not a single breakup or loss of tuner 2. its been stable for 24 hours + so I'm hoping it stays that way.
I would guess if anyone has similar issues try either an external fan, or maybe taking the cover off, or something else to improve internal temperatures.
