Getting ready to have my HDDVR delivered on 08/04/08,

1) I've read alot of horror stories on the DTV HDDVR's, I will use it mostly to record football games and maybe a coupld of season passes. Has DTV gotten most of the bugs out and can I count on, for the most part, having a DVR that is fairly reliable?

2) I have one line running to my H20 (HD DVR to replace it), my plan is to take a line I have already run in another room and run to this as well, will that be okay?

I dont' want to mess with the multiswitch, will it be okay to take a line from one room and run it with the line I already have and hook them to the DVR?

1) Your mileage may vary on this. Personally, Ive had both an HR20 and HR21 running fine for more than a year with no problems.

2) Are you just wanting to extend an existing cable run from room to room? If so, depending on distance it should work fine. Several here say that runs over great distance read 100+ feet might cause problems.
I'm pretty sure you wont get an HR23.

One would hope that if you sign up for an HD DVR you wouldn't get an HD non-DVR.
