HR21 IR Out?

Yes. This is the normal mode of operation in RF mode (i.e., the RF only affects the HR21 and all other components will be driven by IR.)

When I set up my remote in RF mode I had to enter the sequence on the remote a couple times before it went into RF mode. So, just be aware to follow the on screen instructions carefully.

The HR21 itself does not output IR to other devices. However, the remote will still work in IR for other devices even if set to RF for your HR21.

That's a bummer... I guess I'm still going to have to have my IR repeaters for the rest of my gear.

I was hoping to have the hr21 remote send rf for everything to the hr21 then have it send out the IR signals to the gear.

That would be an awesome feature. I have to use a cheap IR repeater right now that is not the best, would be awesome if it was all integrated. Especially since the remote sends commands to the receiver and whatever device even when you are using the receiver via RF and the other device via IR and just controlling the other device.
