HR21 or Hr22?

I'm going to get a 3rd DVR, this ones actually for myself and not a family member. I have two other HR20-100s HD DVR's and they seem to function okay, the only problem with them has been the c-band filter thingies on the back the little cable with the plastic box if you know what I mean.. I had 3 different revisions before I got all of my HD channels to come in. And also audio is not always synced to the lips on the screen which can get reallly annoying.

Anyway, I'm looking at HR21's and HR22's are they basically the same unit with different hard drive space or is one that much better than the other?

Should I wait for a future receiver to be released? Or is there plans for another HD DVR anytime soon?

Also why does D* charge an initial fee like $199 for a receiver that you lease and have to pay a monthly lease for anyway?

HR22 has twice the recording capacity as the HR20/HR21 HD DVRs. Otherwise identical to the HR21.

The HR21's have a 320GB HDD.HR22 has a 500GB HDD.;)

The new HD DirecTivo is coming out in the last quarter of 2009.;)

The monthly lease fee is for more than 1 DVR.If you only had 1 DVR that fee is included with your package price. So it's more like a mirror fee.;)

The $199. is an upgrade lease fee with a 24 month commitment.Better than having to pay $500-600. per DVR to own it.;)
