I have not been to a Best Buy location lately but a thread on the HR22 being on Bestbuy.com got me looking at their website today. It seems the HR22 is now available on line and in stores (I checked Washington stores since that is where I live but not so much lately). Also the R22 is also available online and in store according to their in store availability checker. I have not checked my local Best Buy but I am in Idaho for work and I am going to check the local Best Buy tonight! I thought the community should know about this. This means people out there without an HDTV that want Directv on Demand can now get it. And if you want a HR22 for the 100 Hour HD capacity (I have not been brave enough to do the Esata solution yet) you can get one through Best Buy. Here are the Best Buy web links.

I think I should start a separate thread for the R22 since it has not been available except for specific markets as of late and there had been no thread that talked about R22 availablilty. I think the standard definition customers with DIRECTV that want DIRECTV on Demand will want to know they have an option now.
