I am having an increasing problem with my hr24-500. It spontaneously goes to a black screen with no audio. Pressing play or changing channels clears the problem. It acts like the old screen saver bug, but is just a black screen instead. The frequency seems to be increasing. It went from once a month or so to once a week or so to once a day or so. I have tried reset, double reset and this morning a hard reset. I was hoping the HDGUI download would fix the problem but it didn't. I noticed that at the moment it goes to a black screen the SD output displays the "your set is not HD" message. That display comes on as if a button had been pressed. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas what to do. I hate to get into the what model will I get roulette when I paid full price to get a hr24 through a retailer.
