new hr24 replaced a receiver with a coax output. new one does not have one. PROBLEM: whole house is wired with rg6. want to send audio/video to deck and bedroom without additional receivers. cheap way to adapt hdmi to coax. 42" and 32 lcd .

has anyone else delt with this?

Get the hdmi to composite video converter referenced in one of the linked threads. Then use an rf modulator to modulate that composite video signal and distribute. About $75 for the two items, give or take.
outputs are component, rca, and hdmi. need a adapter to coax. rg6 can carry 1080 but is there an adapter somewhere for a f-connector or a BIN connector?

RG6 CANNOT carry 1080i/p without it being modulated and that is STUPID expensive (>$700 for the Channel Plus HD modulator).

The downside to any of these technologies is that they all suffer from analog to digital conversion, re-compression and the issues pointed out by samrs.

Does this get around the HDCP message when watching HBO via RF modulator? Currently, my LCD TV must be on to watch a movie via RF modulator.

I was thinking even more stupid expensive with zeevee encoders. Many years of receiver fees, with less functionality. Then again feeding many tvs would be possible.

Do you have ability to replace the coax with cat5/6? Get some component over cat5 adapters to send hd to the other panel.
