My wife deleted an episode of a show from the list the other night, and it didn't disappear, and it's still there. Yet, if you "select" it, down at the bottom it says "this episode was deleted by viewer(1001)". It doesn't show up in history either. Not the end of the world, but it should go away. Any suggestions? Happens occasionally(actually very rarely), when you get a chance, restart the receiver by going into the setup menu and choose reset-restart receiver.

We have just the opposite problem. We have a show that we recorded and deleted a year ago that reappears anytime we reboot the receiver. Have not figured how to rid ourselves of this show.

This might be a long shot, but...
When you reboot and hold down the record & down arrow on the front panel, it starts a disk scan that is fairly lengthy and what seems to be the most extensive. IIRC on a 300 GB drive it took 2.5 hours.
