I have two HR24s privately owned looking to sell. Include several remotes. Not sure where to sell and how much to ask

People most likely can't activate them so they may only be worth it for parts for someone.

I don’t think that’s true. When I bought these, my seller was reputable. I called and verified that they were privately owned that I could activate them any time which I did I had them in my motorhome. I recently deactivated them for off-season, but I was never told you couldn’t reactivate him.

they can only be activated on an account that deactivated --To anyone else they are door stops

As others have said, those DVRs cannot be activated on someone else's account. The best you can do is sell them for parts only.
