I have a HR24 that is stuck in doubleplay. When I say stuck I mean stuck. The problem comes in when you want to record one and watch a second show. It brings up the interruption screen and shows the tuner is in double play, but where you could normally select stop double play nothing happens.

Has anyone seen this come up with the new software, by the way I am on it.

It does sound exactly like that issue, but I don't know if there ever was a resolution. What steps have you taken to try to resolve it?

I think I've fixed the problem. I repeated the satellite setup and changed it over to single tuner. Once the change was complete then I switched it back to dual tuner. So far so good...

Is there ever going to be a chance that the watched channel and the recording channels will be continued after recording is complete? Either or both. Many times we used the buffer to pick up a program not in our series lists but something my lovely wife or I wanted to keep when we had TiVo. And I would vote for the receivers to be in double play as a default rather than as something you have to enable and then it is only good for two hours.
