Hey,

I finally gave in and converted from my HD DirecTivo to a HR20.

Question From a newbie: is there a way to have the recorded show list permenantly default to be listed alphbetically instead of chronologically? I've been able to revise the list manually each time it comes up, but I haven't been able to figure out how to change the default option (assuming it can be changed).

There's a way to do it. I can't remember the key presses that enable this. Give me a sec to search for it.

Yes, the answer is...

do a KEYWORD search for IAMANEDGECUTTER and after the result comes up empty, press Menu and Info at the same time ON THE FRONT PANEL not the remote, and you can change the default sort.

As you see it's a bit of a backdoor code.
