I have been on the phone a number of times to the tech division (with numerous pin numbers) and had a "tech" in my home for the following problem. When I switch from a digital TV channel to the music channels the audio does not work. In other words, switching from dolby digital to the non dolby music channels doesn't pick up the switch. I have my system hooked up via HDMI through my Pioneer Elite SC-27 AV receiver. I use a Logitech universal remote. When switching to the music channels the Pioneer receiver switches (as you can see is on the receiver display), but the HD34 does not pick up the switch. DirecTV claims it is a problem with my receiver (which it is not). With the previous DVR I never had this issue. DirecTV thinks I should bypass the receiver and connect directly to the TV and use the coax for audio. To me this defeats the use of HDMI. Anyone else have this problem? By the way, they have changed out the HD34 with a new one and the problem still exists. Thanks for any help.
