hi folks,
I've been having problems with scheduling recordings from the DTV iPhone app not actually setting the recording to my HR34. Never ever had a problem with remote recordings on my previous HR21-700.
I get the Confirmation/Successful screen from the iphone app but i don't see the recording appear in the To Do list on the HR34. I also notice that I don't get the confirmation emails anymore that I used to get (to confirm that a show will be recorded).
It seemed to work right after I restart the receiver. I will set something currently playing on TV to record via the iphone, and I see the record light turn on the HR34 a few seconds later, but then any further attempted remote recordings initiated from the iphone app stops working after say 15 minutes from the receiver restart.
any thoughts on what may be going on or what I can try to rectify it (if it's somehow on my end)? I've already restarted the receiver a few times (via the menu, and via the red button).
