HR34 Ethernet OTA and DECA

879 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  SomeRandomIdiot
From information on this site, the HR34 does not deactivate DECA when ethernet is connected.

If one is using OTA diplexed on the DirecTV RG6 feed and ethernet connections to network every DirecTV IRD - and since the HR34 undocumented feature is to take the place of a DCC, wouldn't this put TCP/IP on the RG6 Network and cause an issue with OTA signals?

Would a BSF on the RG6 eliminate the problem (if there really is a problem).
