Does your phone service have a Voicemail Message Waiting signal? There's a known bug with the current HR34 software that sometimes causes this to pop up if you have that feature. DirecTV is aware of the issue and working on a fix.

This happens at random and not when I am getting a call.
This location previously had an HR21 and I used all of the same cabling. When I do get a call, the callerID works correctly.

It does this for standard phone service that offers voicemail also....texasbrit said:No, if you have call waiting it shows up every 30 minutes...at least it does with FIOS. DirecTV engineering is aware of the problem.
