Right. The recording buffer is lost when you do this. Not sure if it's considered a "bug" officially though.
hr34 live tv problem
I have a hr34 that is owned and my wife found a problem with ours, when you have the box tuned to a channel then watch a recorded show, when you go back to the live tv, it cannot be rewound. It can only be rewound to the time the recorded show stopped being watched. Is this normal or anything i can do to fix.I ran a system test and all 5 tuners said they were ok.

Easy workaround, of course, is to record the channel before watching the previously recorded show.
I don't have an HR#34 , but I wonder if enabling dual buffers would help.
