I have 2 HR34s and an HR24 and HR20. One of my HR34s which was a replacement for another buggy HR34 is now having MRV issues. At times, it will not recognize certain of the other networked receivers. Sometimes it is the HR24. Other times it is the other HR34. Each of my other receivers do not have this issue and all receivers are connected on the same network and show connected. Each time the HR34 has this problem it requires a restart.

Do all the units have a Static IP or at least a DHCP reservation?

Yes, all have different static IPs and always show as Internet and Network connected when I run tests to make sure.

I had a bit different issue where my HR22 didn't see the playlist from my HR34. Instead of rebooting, I disconnected the coax from the Deca on the HR22. Then reattached it and everything from the HR34 appeared in the Playlist of the HR22. Now I know the HR34 has the Deca built in, but I wonder if you disconnect the coax or ethernet from the HR34 and reconnect, if it might resolve your issue. It would spare you waiting for a reboot and may be worth a try.

I am having the same issue. It appears that if the HMC boots before the two HR 20's I have the HMC has problems seeing the shows recorded on one of the the 20's - its always the same hr20. I can reset the HMC box and things are fine. The twom20's always seem to see each other. Network connectivity always shows as OK.

I had this problem after the first day or 2 that I had the HR34. But since then, it's been ok. I've been checking the status page of the Whole Home menu every day and it's still been seeing all 3 of my other HR2x receivers.

Hopefully you are right - for some reason it appears to be a sequence of when things appear on the home network issue. Not a huge deal since I have figured out the right sequence for making these work, but a bit of an annoyance.
