I have a Belkin N router but I have Roadrunner Turbo getting about 10Mbps download speeds. I have no idea what speeds the HR34 is downloading at and have no idea how to determine that. So am I to understand that the HR34 is NOT thru the Belkin router? Still confused I guess.

This should give you close to 1:1 for HD VOD. By this I mean a one hour program should take about 1 hour to download.

I doubt there is anything on your end to improve the speed "if" you're getting close to this.
