I am thinking about getting a HR-34 but with all the posts with numerous problems I am not sure about it. Anyway, does anybody that has a HR-34 and using RF remote notice any improvement in remote response as opposed to a HR-24 or older receiver?
What remote comes with the HR-34?

The HR34 is a work in progress, more so than an HR24 or older receiver. Get one for the additional tuners, increased series recording link limit, PiP and larger hard drive, but not for snappy remote response. At least not just yet.
