Press the left and right arrows at the same time and it will dim the lights. I just tried this and it works.
HR34/Round blue lights
I know how to turn off the round blue lights on the hr20's, 21 but can u turn off the blue lights on the front of the HR24?

Yah the thing that confused me is the front of it is flat unlike the hr20's with the buttons sticking out. I finally figured it out. But actually i kinda like the blue lights on ......on this box. It looks cool
They don't seem to be as intense as the older receivers.
