HR34 scheduling question

If the HR34 (Or the HR2x line as well) can't record a program due to signal or power loss, will it automatically try and schedule a later airing of the program?

I think it depends. When I've lost power before and missed 15 minutes out of the middle of a show, it records the first part and second part, but shows them as partial. It doesn't pick up the next airing. But if I totally missed a show, then I've seen it record the next airing.
I had to do a RBR during a recording last night and it recorded a later showing as well as having the partial. I haven't had the 34 long enough to see if this was a one time occurrence, but I thought that was pretty smart of it.

I've never had the power loss situation, but my HR2X receivers have always picked up a later showing (if there was one) during a rain fade (771 error) event. No idea about the HR34.
