My executive gold box from hughes doesnt keep good time on the guide. After about a week, its over 2 minutes off as i keep track of it on bloomberg. Sometimes its over 2 hours off. Some one at hughes suggested that it might be the access card, however i used this card in Thomson boxes and never had this problem before(been a sub for almost 6 years, but this card is only about 1 year old).I am very disappointed with hughes. And i find it annoying that calling directv for tech support is totally useless.Directv supervisors dont have the capability to set the time on your guide system.(or do much of anything else for that matter). Directv is nothing more than a signal provider, people seem to think its some great miracle invention but its really not. Dont forget, cable gets HBO and other stations off of satelites too, it just reaches you via cable instead of a personal dish, wich you paid for.
