·yeah its been almost 6 months now and im still here pullin the plug every 5 days on my reciever cause it looses time. im thinkn of throwin in the towel on hughes and going back to RCA but i dont want to give up the advance program guide (i have rca DRD 480re). I can get a rca DRD485 RG, but those new guides are slow,i dont want to start banging my head against the wall again.Hughes keeps sending me recievers and i keep sending them back, each one is as bad as the next. its obvious that directv products in general are not selling as much as they once did. so both thomson and hughes cut corners. In the case of Hughes, they provided nice hardware but the software is pretty much coded in some ones basement. This is not a class act. Hughes didnt want to pay a company like microsoft millions of dollars for reliable code. to be continued...
