NEW YORK (Reuters) - Hughes Electronics Corp. on Wednesday trimmed its third-quarter forecast for subscriber growth at its DirecTV U.S. unit, the largest U.S. satellite television service, although it said the unit's cash flow would be higher than expected.

"We had a meeting with the Justice Department yesterday and their attorneys working on the investigation told our attorneys that no decision has been reached and that no recommendations have been made at this point in time," said GM spokeswoman Toni Simonetti.
