We have all these problems because Dtv got to big to fast. They cant keep up with the demand. You never get the same answer twice while dealing with the reps. Installation is subbed out half of them come in their beat up old truck. And the hr20 is totally unreliable. I cant believe a company so big can do this to its customers. we should start cancelling premium channels until they get it right!

WOW!

I've been waiting for someone to come along and "figure it out!" :sure:

I have been lost as to reasons why D* releases products to early and doesn't properly train thier CSRs, but I knew, someone here would come up with the answer!
My vote for incompetence is this. Half the CSRs can't even formulate a proper English sentence. It is very hard to train a CSR to be just that when they probably only understand half of what is being said.

Not sure what the beat up truck has to do with it all. As long as the stuff is on the truck..

And btw here in in NYC with our HSP we all have 04-05 Chevvy's. Compare that with the junkers Verizon has. :nono2:

Also, it's hard to keep any vehicle from being "beat up" when you put about 50,000+ miles a year on it as we do.
Yeah I would much rather have my installers come in a truck that looks like it does not facilitate any work that would make me more confident in their ability to install satellite television. You are right on the money. I personally give a white glove test to the installer's truck before letting them in my home.
I apologize if i offended any installers. I mean I was on this forum before i got the hr20 I knew it had problems I order it anyway. The installer came with this broken down gold van my morale went down you know first impressions. Lucky for me he showed up with no dish, no reciever. I re-scheduled. the next installer was great i say flawless, very neat and professional. I believe some of these problems people are having are due to in proper installation.
No offense taken here. I just wanted to bring it to light that we do put a lot of miles on our trucks, so it's hard to keep them looking in tip top shape. Some also by "beaters" (lmao, is that even a word) for work because they don't want to ruin their main vehicles.

As for the appearance factor, I wouldn't mind too much as long as the person is dressed for their type of work. I don't expect installers to wear a suit and tie, but their clothes shouldn't be full of holes, have vulgar writing (such as university of alabama  ), etc.

Today when ordering an upgrade to the H20, I asked a side questions to the two reps I talked to...."Does Sunday Ticket automatically renew"

Person 1: "No, you must order it after Feb 6th"
Person 2: "Yes, it automatically does."

It automatically renews, and even if you tell them it does not, in May and June they will put a $0 charge on your bill for it. If it shows, call and cancel

This what I can't understand almost everyone on here know that answer. Dtv gives you 2. Now that these HR20 are giving problems who do you believe after you talk to 10 different reps it is just frustrating.
