I don't remember the exact software update but it was a couple of weeks ago that we had recordings that wouldn't play. I had another one tonight. My local CBS MPEG 4 recorded The Unit. But when I went to play it there was just a blank screen and nothing would get it to play. Hopefully it is a one time thing and not a common occurance again...
