my directv contract expired last month, im still currently with them.. but if they dont add pac 12 and lakers network gonna have to look into switching to twc which currently has both in my area...

my question was is it possible to cancel my directv package and only keep nfl sunday ticket?

No. I think you have to keep the minimum package. I think it is the entertainment package.

They use to allow it but im not sure if they still do. Just call and ask (front line may not know) I would go to retention with intent to cancel and see if they will allow it still.

Family is the lowest package required. You cannot have stand alone packages anymore.

You might want to suspend service if you do, to see if they are added. Easier to come back, unless you would have a contract with Time Warner. There is a thought that they will be adding PAC12, but haven't heard any confirmation or anything on Lakers.
