Keep it??? Or go on and upgrade? I really like tivo but if I need to upgrade now, should I? Also, it seems I read those with the HR10-250, I can get a HR20 for only $99?

Has anyone gotten this??

Take a look at the prices used HR10's are going for now.

I would evaluate what that latest updates do for the HR20..
And go from tehre.

if u can get your ota just fine with your hr10....then like me.....wait til the last minute to upgrade so that u can get a slimline dish for sure and they work out all the bugs in the hr20...............plus that allows extra time for installers to have more experience with installing these new 5lnb dishes. seems i'm reading alot of posts with people getting the run-around from installers on where/how they can install these dishes. so unless u cant get your hd ota with your hr10.....there is really no point to upgrade.

Call directv and ask for a deal....then ask for the next service level...ask for a better deal...and finally ask for retention(feel no shame in this) and see if they can do better!......If you pay close to $100/month and always on time...u should be able to get it for at least 99...+credits
