Quoting from page 5 of the Quick Start Guide:

REPLAY
Jumps the program you're watching backwards 6 seconds and starts playing from that point.

ADVANCE
Jumps ahead in recorded or live-stored video by 30 seconds.

Note the word "jump" is used in both cases, not just Replay. Should we all call Directv and complain that are HR20's are not working as documented?

Only if you have entirely too much time on your hands and enjoy tilting at windmills.

Just for the record, I did include the "sarcastic" smiley in my post....

That said, the 30 second skip feature is the main reason why my household still uses our old UTV box for everything except actual HD shows - and even there we sometimes watch them on the old box because the overall experience is simply that much better.

If you think moving from UTV is bad, try moving from a ReplayTV that had commercial skip!
