A lot of people have had this problem. If it keeps happening, a reformat seems to be the only fix. Search for my posts in the 0xEB and 0xEF discussion threads.mjs31 said:

Well we woke up tonight (work 3rd shift) to find our unit not responding to the remote. I was able to push the power button and it is now coming up, but going through the complete initial install routine. I have a bad feeling that Vegas did not record but am not for sure.
I had given a lot of praise for the recent update, but I am hesitant now since this is the first time this has ever happened. Any one else ever have this issue?
