If you're running Windows and have a copy of Odin on your PC, then you will be able to go ahead and use the one-click installation file available at the source. The Heimdall files are also available for those running different software on their computers.

NOTE: Remember to do a Nandroid...Install at your own risk.

Another note: I've used the Odin 1-Click method (recommended). It will not flash the counter (and we like that). You do have to put your SGII in download mode.
I have used the Heimdall method (It WILL flash the counter). I don't recommend it unless it is absolutely necessary.

Of course you can always root it, however the Stratosphere doesn't seem to be top on the developers list: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1341121

Oh, I've already rooted it lol Just waiting/hoping for a rooted version of ICS. Curious-what are the minimum and recommended requirements for ICS? Wondering if maybe the phone shouldn't even run it?
