If it's not a dead Tuner 1, what's going on?

OK, here's the short version: I tried switching locations of my HR20 and HR10-250 today. Both tuners in the HD TiVo have worked perfectly in location #1 since I got it. Likewise, both tuners in the HR20 have had no problems when used in location #2. However, when I take the HD Tivo to location #2, both tuners still work just fine. When the HR20 is moved to Location #1, one tuner appears dead, for lack of a better word. I tested it by recording something and then trying (unsuccessfully) to change the channel. When I switch the satellite input wires, the other tuner "dies." So, it's specific to one particular line, but why would it work for the HD TiVo but not the HR20? How do I fix this?

Oh, BBCs are on the HR20 inputs at all points of the scenario above.

Have you run the "View Signal Strength" test under the "Help and Setup" menu? That should tell us if its all sats/transponders on that line or just a few. Might be helpful info (and a good way to stall while someone less ignorant than me might come up with an better answer...)

Cheers,
Tom
Try removing the BBCs.
That may be related to a problem I had yesterday where one input on the HR20 was showing no signal. I checked a bunch of stuff, called D* and they had me hit the red button and the problem cleared.
i would be willing to bet its the bbcs. I have lost all 4 of mine now
